Why Book a Private Tour Instead of a Cruise Line Excursion?

Our Private Tour	Cruise Line Shore Excursion
Group size	Just your party (max 6)	30–50 passengers
Vehicle	Private air-conditioned car/van	Large coach bus
Itinerary	Fully flexible, tailored to you	Fixed, no deviations
Pickup	At your cruise terminal door	Meeting point — may involve waiting
Pace	You set it — we adapt	Strict schedule
Guide	One driver-guide dedicated to your party	Guide shared with 30+ people
Typical price (2 pax)	€150–€300 per person	€80–€200 per person
Typical price (6 pax)	€50–€100 per person	€80–€200 per person

For couples (2 pax), cruise line excursions can look cheaper — but you’re on a coach with 40 strangers, stuck to their schedule. For groups of 3+, our private tours are usually cheaper per person and dramatically more comfortable.

Who We Work With

We’ve welcomed cruise passengers from most major Mediterranean cruise lines docking in Malaga: MSC, Norwegian, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Princess, P&O, Holland America, Virgin Voyages, Seabourn, and more. Our operations team monitors the Malaga port schedule daily and coordinates tours around your ship’s exact arrival and departure times.

Custom Shore Excursions

If none of our standard tours fit what you want, we also design custom private shore excursions — whether that’s combining Marbella & Puerto Banús, adding a wine tasting in Ronda, doing Cordoba by AVE train, or something unusual you’ve been researching. Just get in touch with your ship’s name, date, and what you’re after, and we’ll put together a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a private cruise tour from Malaga cost?

Our private shore excursions range from €250 (Malaga city or Mijas) to €600 (Ronda full day) per group of up to 6 passengers. That includes private transport, licensed driver-guide, flexibility and cruise-terminal pickup. For 4+ travelers this is typically cheaper per person than cruise-line excursions.

Will you guarantee I’m back before my ship leaves?

Yes. We monitor your ship’s scheduled departure and plan to have you back at the terminal at least 1 hour before. In 12+ years we’ve never had a guest miss their ship.

Where does the tour pick me up?

Directly at the Muelle de Levante cruise terminal (Terminal A or B, whichever your ship docks at). No walking, no shuttle, no meeting points — the driver meets you as soon as you step off the ship.

How do I pay?

Secure online payment via Stripe — SSL encrypted, we never see or store your card details. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your tour.

Are your tours safe?

All our vehicles are licensed, insured and fully legal for tourist transport in Spain. All drivers are licensed, background-checked, and fluent in English. We have over 175 five-star TripAdvisor reviews from cruise passengers and private travelers.

What if my ship is delayed arriving at Malaga?

We monitor your arrival time and adjust pickup accordingly. If your ship is significantly delayed, we reschedule or refund as appropriate. Just keep us informed if you can.

Can you accommodate special requests?

Absolutely. Mobility considerations, dietary restrictions, photography-focused itineraries, families with children, multigenerational groups — we’ve done it all. Let us know what you need when booking.

What languages do your guides speak?

All our driver-guides speak fluent English and Spanish. Some also speak French, German or Italian — let us know if you’d prefer a specific language and we’ll match accordingly.

Do you accept larger groups (7+ passengers)?

Yes. For groups of 7–8 we use a larger vehicle. For 9+ passengers we use a minibus. Just email us group size and we’ll quote accordingly.

Can I book multiple tours across different cruise days?

Yes. We’re happy to arrange consecutive shore excursions over multiple cruise stops — it’s a great way to see more of Andalusia. We’ll also build in rest time if you prefer a slower second day.
